Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor and take appropriate action in the consumer loan portfolio. Responsibility would also include: continuous examination of the products, evaluate effectiveness of established procedures and recommendation of policy updates.

Requirement and Skills:
- Reviews the delinquent loan status for the financial institution, and implementing action by contacting those delinquent account holders through telephone calls, letters and personal visits
- Oversight on servicing guidelines established by the financial institution
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Works with other departments within the financial institution regarding litigation, repossession and foreclosure activities providing direction accordingly
- Reviews payment lists, maintains departmental files and prepares paperwork on debits, credits and other payments
- Contacts credit bureaus for customer credit reports, checks customer references, updates address and emails and gathers additional information as necessary
- Oversight of payments and ensuring they are properly credited or applied to customer accounts
- Prepares reports on the status of delinquent account and collection activities undertaken by the financial institution
- Review consumer portfolio files to ensure the completeness of the file
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree from a college or university, preferred.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Knowledge of loan products and services is advantageous but not mandatory, training will be provided.
- Works independently and as a member of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
