Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team. The Universal Banker will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations and the ability to build relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, loan experience and a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
Duties
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances throughout the day.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on products and services.
- Promote financial products and services to enhance customer relationships and meet sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies during all transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to security protocols.
- Support loan processing by gathering necessary documentation from customers.
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer service experiences.
- Pre loan document prep including but not limited to: pull credit, order evaluations/appraisals, order titles and verify insurance.
- Verify loan documents accuracy and prepare closing documents.
- Process follow up exceptions for insurance and document requirements.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in financial sales or relationship management is preferred.
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with customers.
- Ability to focus on all areas of a project or task; must be detail oriented.
