Summary
As a Human Resources Generalist at 24/7 Home Care, you will be an integral part of our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and supporting the overall HR functions that contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional home care services.
The HR Specialist is responsible for facilitating the seamless onboarding of caregivers *. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to manage caregiver onboarding, document collection, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate will be energetic and good with people as well as detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle a high caseload.
HR Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Intake team and caregivers to explain and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Ensure seamless communication between Coordination and Intake teams, transferring cases once caregivers are fully onboarded.
- Set up and clear out follow-ups daily, managing tasks to ensure caregivers meet all compliance standards.
- Respond promptly to emails, calls, and texts from caregivers and internal teams, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Conduct onboarding paperwork, background checks.
HR Onboarding Specialist Success Measurements:
- Day 1: Arrive prepared with a positive attitude and begin training.
- 30 Days: Familiar with processes and systems
- 60 Days: Fully managing a caseload , confidently using systems, and activating caregivers
- 90 Days: Managing 125 cases and activating an average of 40 caregivers per month, with deep knowledge of processes and systems.
- 6 Months: Able to cover another team member’s caseload and activate an average of 50 caregivers per month.
