MAINTENANCE TECH
Full-Time, year-round employment. Hourly wage compensable with experience.
Are you an individual who enjoys creating solutions to problems, is proficient with tools, and/or finds satisfaction in leaving items in better condition than you found them? Perhaps you like to be on the move and having the ability to work on a different task each day?
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part a small team of 2-4 employees. Duties include servicing, plumbing, electrical, fuel systems, and general building maintenance for our ten 24/7 Travel Store locations across the state. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields is preferred.
- At least 1 year experience as a Maintenance Technician in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Proficient and/or capable in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Work as part of a team and be able to complete assignments independently.
- Daily travel, some overnights required.
- Must comply with all company safety rules.
- Valid driver’s license and physical ability to drive vehicle for job related travel
- Be willing to obtain CDL if not already licensed.
