Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct initial assessments of clients’ fitness levels and health history to create tailored training programs.
- Design and implement effective workout plans that incorporate various fitness modalities, including kickboxing, yoga, cycling, and strength training.
- Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols to ensure client safety during workouts.
- Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust programs as needed to meet individual goals.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages clients to stay motivated and engaged in their fitness journey.
- Promote additional services offered by the health club or gym, including group classes or specialized training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, nutrition, and wellness to provide clients with current information.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization is required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and program design principles.
- Experience in fitness sales is preferred to effectively promote services offered by the gym or health club.
- Ability to teach various fitness classes such as kickboxing, yoga, or cycling is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to continuous personal development within the fitness industry.
- Previous experience working in a gym or health club setting is an advantage.
