**Job Description:**
As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to water damage emergencies , assessing and addressing the damage and implementing effective mitigation strategies. You will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and that properties are restored promptly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of the restoration industry, including water damage restoration and mold remediation techniques. The Water Care Technician will work with various hand and power tools to effectively restore affected areas.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to water damage calls in a timely manner.
- Assess the extent of water damage and develop a mitigation plan.
- Operate equipment such as pumps, dehumidifiers, and air movers.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with industry standards.
-Assess properties for water damage and determine appropriate restoration methods.
-Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes to mitigate damage.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
-Follow safety protocols during asbestos abatement when necessary.
-Document work performed and maintain accurate records of restoration processes.
-Familiarity with the restoration industry practices, including fire restoration techniques.
-Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the restoration process.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results in every project undertaken.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
