Psychiatrist Contract Assignments

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Osawatomie State Hospital in Kansas.

Job Summary

This is a contract assignment position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose psychiatric and medical conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Consult with supervisors and other agency personnel as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Currently licensed and registered with the appropriate Kansas State Board
• At least one year of experience in the clinical profession
• Ability to communicate effectively and make professional decisions
