24-Hour Medical Staffing Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU)ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.
Job Overview:
- Job Title: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Bakersfield, California
- Type of Assignment: Contract (13 weeks)
- Start Date: 4/14/2025
- Shift: 3x12 Hours, 36 hours per week
- Shift Hours: 19:00 - 07:30
- Pay Rate: $2,600 - $2,800 per week
Qualifications
- Valid California License
- BLS Certification (must be through American Heart Association - AHA)
- ACLS Certification (must be through American Heart Association - AHA)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital
- Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation. Critical care RNs (ED/ICUs/PICU) will have more than just the basic interpretation test (like those included in the STEMI curriculum and Procedural Sedation curriculum assigned to them).
- Types of patients: "Respiratory failure, sepsis, AMI, ARDS, GI bleed, CABG (fresh hearts by trained staff), TAVR, Impella, vascular surgeries, neuro surgeries, CVAs…Neuro experience would be a PLUS. They are adding a Neuro ICU in 2018 & they are seeing a lot of neuro. Nurses must participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
- Medications: All cardiac & vasoactive drips, conscious sedation, etc
- Floating: MUST be willing to float to any MedSurg/Tele units (4E, 4W, 5E, 5W, & 6E) Travelers float 1st.
Salary : $2,600 - $2,800
