Assistant Editor – Focused on Project and Asset Management3 Months, Potential to Extend$45 / hr (w2, 40 hrs a week expected)Hybrid, Culver CityResponsibilitiesManage A / V project workflows and oversee the organization of assets in collaboration with the content design video team.Track, maintain, and update a comprehensive A / V asset library.Handle footage preparation : download, log, organize, and string out footage for projects.Assemble select reels and rough cuts to aid the creative decision-making process.Search for sound effects and music to enhance edits, and prepare video assets for presentations.Oversee final picture and audio preparation, including QC of deliverables, export of final formats, and project archiving.Create cutdowns and additional versions based on approved final edits.Enforce strict security protocols for all content and assets.QualificationsStrong project and asset management skills, with the ability to track and organize large volumes of content efficiently.Champion of the client’s brand standards, ensuring all assets align with creative guidelines.Advocate for creative best practices in all deliverables.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with a hybrid creative team.Firm understanding of video compression codecs, broadcast deliverables, and delivery methods.Knowledge of all digital formats and requirements for picture and audio production, especially for TV finishing.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing deliverables.Software RequirementsWorking knowledge of Keynote, FCPX, Compressor, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects is a plus.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionArt / CreativeIndustriesEntertainment Providers and Movies, Videos, and Sound#J-18808-Ljbffr
