Role Overview
The 3D Footwear Designer is responsible for creating innovative and precise digital representations of footwear concepts, enabling seamless collaboration between design, development, and manufacturing teams. This role involves building detailed 3D prototypes, rendering models for presentations, and delivering CAD-ready files while incorporating material and texture visualizations and iterative design updates.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Prototyping and Design
- Create highly detailed and accurate 3D digital prototypes of footwear concepts.
- Develop innovative designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Rendering and Visualization
- Produce high-quality rendered models for internal and external presentations.
- Visualize materials, colors, and textures to enhance design communication and storytelling.
- CAD and Manufacturing Preparation
- Generate precise CAD-ready files for tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs meet technical and production standards.
- Iteration and Revision
