24 Seven is partnering with a well-known company to help them find an Apparel Sourcing Coordinator to join their team in Portland, OR for this hybrid position. This is a 3 month contract with potential to extend working 2-3x a week in office. While on contract, you’d be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
Ideal Candidate: will have 0-2 years of experience in apparel production and sourcing as well is proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
The Sourcing Coordinator supports product development and production across assigned divisions. They assist with product and print development, communicate with internal and external partners, and help the Sourcing Manager with administrative tasks such as tracking, reporting, and meeting preparations. Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and time management skills, along with proficiency in Outlook and Excel, are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Sourcing Manager in product development functions to ensure timely execution of product development calendar.
- Foster collaborative relationships, facilitate communication across offices, and follow up with both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage daily communication with external partners through email to gather and organize information, resolve issues, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
- Partner with design, merchant, and creative teams to develop assortment.
- Assist with print development and execution, costing, and delivery for assigned categories.
- Monitor the progress of product development, track samples and submissions, and oversee deadlines for multiple seasons simultaneously.
- Requests marketing samples and artwork submissions from vendors, track to internal deadlines, and organize upon receipt.
- Responsible to create, issue and track POs for on-time delivery.
- Track raw material commitments and liabilities.
- Assist Sourcing Manager with general administrative tracking, reports, and meeting preparations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in related field desired.
- 0-2 years’ experience in apparel production and sourcing.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
