Consumer Insights Consultant
Contract: 6 months | 40 hrs/week | Hybrid | Starts mid-May

Our client, a well-loved QSR brand, is looking for an experienced and strategic Consumer Insights Consultant to join their team on a contract basis. This person will serve as a key partner to the Consumer Insights Director, delivering research-backed recommendations that shape product innovation, marketing campaigns, and overall brand strategy. Ideal candidates bring both analytical strength and a pulse on consumer culture, with a knack for turning complex data into clear business direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align the Consumer Insights team’s efforts with company goals, contributing to strategic decision-making and thought leadership.
- Design and execute concept testing, product development research, and taste tests to support innovation and the product pipeline.
- Turn research findings into clear, compelling, and actionable insights that drive marketing and business outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed a consumer-first mindset across the organization.
- Support the evolution of the insights function by introducing new methodologies, tools, and ways of working.
- Manage and balance internal research resources with external vendors to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, impactful way.
- Bring curiosity and cultural awareness to the role—combining data with intuition, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Promote the insights team as a trusted, creative, and forward-thinking strategic partner within the company.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 5–7 years in consumer insights, preferably in QSR, fast casual, or a consumer-facing industry.
- Strong background in product testing, brand positioning, and agency/vendor management.
- Proven ability to synthesize data from multiple sources (quant, qual, social, secondary).
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, juggling priorities, and working in a matrixed organization
Salary : $45 - $50
