Our client is a leading Branding Agency hiring a Design Director to lead their CPG clients into new heights. They are looking for a Design Director with experience in Package design to drive new aesthetically pleasing designs with sustainability in mind. This role will require that you are hands-on with building the designs.Location : NYC (2 days in office, very flexible)Salary : $120-145kKey Responsibilities : Strategically think through creative solutions, ensuring well-rounded outcomes.Oversee all project phases including research, strategy, concept exploration, design development, and finalization.Direct a diverse team of creatives, including graphic designers, illustrators, motion designers, and more.Demonstrate experience in identity design, brand systems, packaging, and environmental design; digital and motion design experience is a plus.Be a hands-on designer with the ability to actively contribute to team projects.Adhere to project timelines, manage scope, and effectively communicate project status to internal partners.Ensure quality control on all completed projects, maintaining design quality and production accuracy.CPG experience is preferred from brands like J&J, Unilever, P&G, or Church & Dwight.Skilled in Adobe CS programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
