We are seeking a Freelance Photo Retoucher to join our team for a 1-month onsite contract. This role is perfect for a highly skilled retoucher with experience in fashion and apparel photography, looking for a short-term opportunity to contribute to an innovative brand.
Job Summary:
As a Photo Retoucher, you will be responsible for enhancing product and lifestyle imagery to align with our brand's aesthetic and quality standards. Working closely with our photographers, designers, and marketing team, you will ensure our visuals are polished, consistent, and optimized for e-commerce, social media, and print.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retouch and color-correct apparel and model photography for digital and print use.
- Maintain consistency in lighting, tones, textures, and overall brand aesthetic.
- Remove imperfections, refine textures, and enhance fabric details while preserving a natural look.
- Optimize images for various platforms, including e-commerce, social media, and marketing materials.
- Work efficiently in a high-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and the creative team to ensure seamless execution of visual content.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Photo Retoucher in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (experience with Capture One is a plus).
- Strong understanding of color correction, skin retouching, and apparel texture enhancement.
- Ability to handle high-volume image processing while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience preparing images for e-commerce platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Must be available to work onsite in Manhattan for the duration of the contract.
- Strong file organization and digital asset management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with luxury or high-end fashion brands.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering or AI-assisted retouching techniques.
- Understanding of photography principles and studio lighting setups.
