24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Retail Product Line Manager for this hybrid position in Portland, OR. This is a 7 month contract with potential to extend working 4 days a week onsite. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.
Ideal Candidate : will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, five years of product-related experience, expert Product Management and Merchandising skills, and proficiency in Keynote, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're seeking an experienced Retail Product Line Manager to drive process and strategy within the apparel product creation team. This role will cultivate key relationships with teams, the league, and identify consumer and competitive trends in North America.
The ideal candidate will translate athlete, consumer, and marketplace insights into impactful product narratives. They will lead and collaborate with a product team to deliver innovative, high-performance gear for athletes and compelling retail assortments for major league moments. Business analysis, including bookings and sell-through by channel, country, and style, will be expected.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
If this is you, you'll analyze consumer needs, product trends, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making. You'll apply expertise in product creation, delivery, and pricing across key markets and channels. With a strong storytelling approach, you'll define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy.
As a key business spokesperson, you'll lead product line agreements, costing, and pricing decisions while driving execution of key initiatives. You'll guide the product creation process, collaborating with design, materials, tech, merchandising, and operations. Additionally, you'll oversee or create presentations to sell-in the product and lead line planning and briefing to optimize productivity, margin, and revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 years' additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 5 years' experience in relevant product-related roles
- Expert Product Management and Merchandising skills and expert understanding of the product process
- Experience with Keynote, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, and retail math
- Strong business management experience
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate, lead, negotiate and influence
- Have a global sense of awareness. (Knowledge of current world events. Respect and appreciation for other cultures)
