A leading denim brand, aiming to establish itself as a key player in the US market, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Corporate Sales Executive . The ideal candidate will have at least 8years of experience in the fashion industry, with a strong focus on department stores, e-commerce platforms, and boutique markets. The role demands a proven track record in sales strategy, market penetration, and brand positioning, along with a solid understanding of denim product development and pricing in the $90-$198 range.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Entry Strategy :
  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy targeting key retail channels, including department stores, online marketplaces, and boutique retailers.
  • Identify high-potential markets and distribution channels to maximize brand visibility and sales.
  • Utilize market insights and competitive analysis to strategically position the brand against competitors.
  • Product Expertise :
  • Partner with product development teams to ensure the denim line aligns with market demands for quality, fit, and innovation.
  • Provide input on product assortments, trends, and consumer preferences to meet the needs of target demographics.
  • Stay informed about fabric innovations, sustainability practices, and premium design features to effectively communicate the brand's differentiators.
  • Relationship Building :
  • Utilize an established network of retail buyers and decision-makers to introduce the brand to key accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners, fostering brand loyalty and trust.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, market events, and client meetings as a key ambassador.
  • Brand Positioning & Storytelling :
  • Effectively communicate the brand's unique value proposition and narrative to buyers and end consumers.
  • Create compelling sales presentations and marketing materials that engage and inspire stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Sales Growth & Metrics :
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets that contribute to overall business growth.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability with market positioning.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to adjust strategies and ensure growth targets are met.
  • Collaboration & Leadership :
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and streamline the sales process.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years in corporate or wholesale sales, with a focus on launching and scaling fashion brands.
  • Network : Established relationships with key buyers in department stores, online marketplaces, and boutique retailers.
  • Expertise :
  • In-depth knowledge of denim product development, market trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Familiarity with sustainable practices and fabric innovations in the denim sector.
  • Proven success in brand introductions and growing long-term accounts.
  • Skills :
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, sales reporting, and digital communication platforms.
