We are seeking a seasoned and strategic VP Controller to join our executive leadership team. This critical role involves leading the transformation of our accounting department, implementing strong financial policies, and driving accountability across all financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overhaul and optimization of the accounting department to improve efficiency, structure, and performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Direct all aspects of financial operations, including general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial statements and filings.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide actionable insights through detailed financial analysis to support informed business decisions.
- Oversee and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including significant leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data.
