Our client, a leader in the Financial Services space, is looking to add a Mid-Level Creative Strategist to their team on a contract basis. Role will be remote, 40 hours / week and ongoing. EST / CST time zone preferred.
About the Role
We are seeking a Creative Strategist with experience in the financial services industry to join our growing team on a full-time contractor basis. This role is responsible for bridging strategy and creative execution, ensuring all creative work is insight-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, storytelling skills, and an understanding of the creative process. They will collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop data-backed creative strategies, provide insights, and ensure creative output remains on strategy.

Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in discovery calls with clients, asking insightful questions to uncover strategic needs.
- Develop creative briefs in collaboration with creative directors and associate creative directors.
- Provide strategic guidance throughout the creative process, ensuring all work is aligned with marketing goals.
- Present strategies to clients during creative review meetings.
- Identify opportunities for brand growth and campaign effectiveness within financial services marketing.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, and strategists to develop compelling marketing strategies.
- Ensure smooth execution of projects by communicating milestones, managing timelines, and proactively solving problems.
- Take full ownership of projects, moving them forward without excessive oversight.
- Be a strong problem solver, proposing solutions instead of waiting for direction.
- Lead ongoing social content strategy, particularly for LinkedIn and digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with clients on monthly content planning and strategy development.
- Evaluate high-impact opportunities for creative investment, balancing strategic value and executional efficiency.
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize content and campaign performance.
