24 Seven is partnering with a local company based in Portland, OR to help them find a Web Designer to join their team in this hybrid position. This is a 16 month contract starting late February through June of next year working 2-3 days / week onsite in Portland. Ideal Candidate : will have at least 4 years of relevant work experience and have strong knowledge in ADA accessibility standards.
We are seeking a Web Designer with a strong focus on accessibility to join our client's team. This contract role requires 4 years of relevant experience, particularly in ADA compliance and implementing accessibility standards on websites. This role is ideal for a Web Designer who understands code but focuses on the design side, ensuring accessibility and usability for all users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure web designs comply with ADA accessibility standards
- Collaborate with the greater team to enhance website usability
- Work within HTML and CSS, handling several hundred pages
- Apply UX design principles to create new, accessible web designs
- Understand and work with raw HTML, but not in a developer role
