Main Function:

This role is a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of operations and production data and records. This role ensures availability and inventory accuracy of ingredients and packaging materials, supply management, and alignment of raw materials inventory. Operations Coordinator will align demand with production planning throughout the fulfillment cycle by developing the aggregate demand plan and support assumptions of assigned product lines for the sales and operations planning process. This position is a key driver in understanding and managing the demand inputs which the organization uses to align commercial and operational forecasts. This role will be accountable for the maintenance and organization of process flows and documentation for the production areas including Brewing / Blending, Packaging, Logistics, Procurements and Sales. The right person for this role must be a high-functioning multi-tasker who is team oriented and able to function in a fast-paced environment. Operations Coordinator will collaborate on inventory strategies and act with passion and urgency, is a compelling communicator, proven relationship, and team-builder, insight-led and data driven and fosters a customer focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Retrieve and compile all Purchase Orders from customers. Create production order for brewing / blending, packaging, and inventory items etc. on a daily basis input it into applicable technology systems platform / ERP.
Work with the sales team on pricing and getting new customers onboarded.
Organize, sort, and retain production records and forms in appropriate electronic data file structure.
Maintains and develops weekly and monthly reports to aid in forecasting and strategic decisions.
Collaborate with the Accounting department to set up and edit BOMs of current and future products as required.
Ensure production orders are closed in a timely manner after completion in ERP.
Perform inventory transactions.
Maintain current cellar liquid inventory.
Maintain raw materials Inventory.
Maintain full good Inventory.
Procure raw materials.
Contributes to the design, development, production, and maintenance of production KPIs.
Develop and implement production data administration policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Collect internal external production data.
Assist in inventory counts for full goods, packaging.
Collaborate with receiving to ensure all materials are recorded appropriately to complete production orders.
Forecasting and budgeting
Compile and process data for invoices in line with accounting processes and timelines to ensure timely processing for customer & vendor payments.
Develop and sustain a professional and productive relationship with all customers.
Provides other related duties as required.
Experience and Education:
Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in a related role, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards.
Flexibility to work, overtime, and weekends.
Beverage Co-packing is a big asset
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
Able to facilitate data-driven statistical approaches to problem solving.
Technology proficient including Excel & Power Point.
ERP system experience asset
Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving ability.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Excellent Organizational, and communication skills that are demonstrated by example
Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented.
Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
An equivalent combination of comparable education and experience will be considered
Post secondary education either Food Sciences, Food Safety & Quality Assurance and.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
