Position Summary:
The 247 Packaging is a brewery and beverage manufacturing plant. The “Packaging Operator”
will work in operating various packaging equipment and support us in the beverage plant. The
Packaging Operator reports to the Packaging Supervisor and assists the canning and kegging
machine operators with any necessary tasks during packaging run.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use semi-automated CIP equipment to appropriately clean AND sanitize all food processing
equipment.
- Operate packaging equipment (can depalletizer, canning filler, case packer, kegging, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and take corrective measure in the event of equipment or material problems.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to organization’s Safety, Quality, GMP’s, Food Safety, and
all other company policies and procedures.
- Regularly conduct thorough documentation of all aspects of any given recipe’s completion.
- Use internal production software to documentation and report usage and completion of
assigned/scheduled production tasks.
- Occasionally conduct manual cleaning of tertiary production equipment for sanitary handling of
product, yeast and/or ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the production area and equipment.
- Conduct regular cleaning of production equipment and preventative maintenance of
brewhouse equipment.
- Assist production employees with duties if and when possible or necessary.
- * Work with facility maintenance department to conduct equipment repair when deemed
necessary.
- Maintain organization of production spaces.
- Stack cases neatly onto pallets in preparation for movement to warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly, and ability to maneuver kegs up to 160lbs.
- Ability to follow spoken and written directions.
- Ability to work safely and identify any safety hazards in the brewery.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to be punctual and regularly attend varying shift schedules.
Experiences
- Previous experience in Production, Manufacturing or Related Field a plus.
- Experience driving Forklift and have, or able to achieve, forklift certification a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
