Experiential Developer

Our team of developers, designers, and creatives specializes in crafting interactive activations that captivate audiences, tell compelling stories, and drive engagement in unforgettable ways.

We’re seeking an Mid-Level Experiential Developer to join our team. As an Mid-Level Experiential Developer, you will develop, maintain and deploy applications for live events around the world. While primarily working with web development technologies, you’ll also need to adapt and learn new tools to bring new experiences to life.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code to meet project requirements
• Maintain and support applications for live events and trade shows
• Complete assigned tasks on time and with attention to detail
• Work closely with designers, producers, and engineers to bring creative concepts to life
• Collaborate on technical architecture and decision-making for projects
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance
• Contribute to company coding standards and best practices
• Lead development tasks and provide technical expertise to other members of the team
• Participate in project kickoffs, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
• Occasionally travel to event locations for deployment and support

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience developing software applications
• 2 years of experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript (Node.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks)
• 2 years of experience with Git for version control
• Experience developing and maintaining web-based applications and interactive experiences
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field
• Experience with real-time interactive technologies, such as WebSockets, WebGL, or game engines (Unity, Unreal)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and Cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
• Experience with hardware integration (sensors, touchscreens, AR/VR, IoT devices)
• Experience working in an agency environment or with client-driven projects
• Self-guided project experience demonstrating initiative and problem-solving
