**Job Summary (Summary)**
The Psychiatrist will work in a dynamic environment, assessing and treating patients with psychiatric and medical conditions. This is a contract assignment at Osawatomie State Hospital in Kansas.
**Job Description: Medical and Psychiatric Care**
- Follow the progress of patients, evaluating their psychiatric and medical conditions.
- Assess patient care quality and participate in regular evaluations with supervisors.
- Collaborate with medical and psychiatric consultants, preparing for consultations as needed.
- Participate in hospital-wide orientation and discipline-specific training programs.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Current state medical licensure for Kansas and any additional states required.
- National Provider Identifier for billing purposes.
- Immunization/vaccination records and other necessary documentation.
