Position Summary
The trainer develops and conducts product training programs for employees.
Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to
- Confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies
- Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of 24 Hr Safety and customers
- Formulates teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc
- Tests trainees both internal and external to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
- Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods
- Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions
- Makes suggestions for improving work procedures
- Maintains trainee personnel records
- Develops strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualification
- High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Two plus years medical surveillance training experience.
- Experience training CPR/respiratory protection, Fit-Testing, PFT and/or MEQ required.
- Must have a familiarity with OSHA regulations for industrial training.
- Strong computer skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Current TWIC card holder a plus
- Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle
- Willingness to travel a must.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time, direct hire employment opportunity. The employee must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. Overnight travel likely. Additional hours may be needed.
MUST BE ABLE TO ADHERE TO THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS
- 9-10 hrs. 3-4 days a week
- 5-6 hr. on Saturday

- Annual documentation of a negative TB skin test
- Annual influenza vaccine
