We are seeking a Supply Chain Officer to manage procurement, inventory, and logistics for our practice. This role is essential in ensuring that both our medical team and retail operations have the necessary supplies and products to serve our patients efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels and manage reordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Track sales trends to forecast demand for medical supplies and retail products.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
Logistics & Distribution:
- Oversee the receiving, stocking, and distribution of supplies and products across practice locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, whether for patient prescriptions, retail sales, or internal use.
- Coordinate with shipping providers to optimize delivery times and costs.
Process Optimization & Reporting:
- Implement and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supplier agreements, and procurement costs.
- Provide reports and insights to management regarding stock movement and purchasing trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, supply chain, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of DME regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
- Experience with inventory management systems and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both medical and administrative teams.
