Driver/ Logistics

Are you an experienced driver looking for an opportunity to work for one of the fastest-growing health facilities in Florida? Do you have at least 3 years of experience driving larger trucks, vans, or RVs with a logistics background? If so, we want to talk with you!

We are seeking a reliable Driver/Logistics to join our team in Orlando, Florida, at 26Health. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting our mobile vehicles and, in some instances, employees or vendors to various locations within Central Florida in a timely and safe manner. There may be occasional out-of-state travel.

Duties and responsibilities

Driver: 

• Collaborate with both the Marketing and Facilities Departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Transport Sprinter vans and RVs to various locations for events, as required.
• Drive vehicles both locally and out of the area, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan and organize travel routes to ensure the timely arrival and return of vehicles.
• Communicate effectively via 2-way radio or cellular phone during trips.
• Assist with vehicle inspections, including Sprinter vans and RVs, to ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain vehicles by fueling and performing basic upkeep to ensure they remain clean and in optimal condition.
• Prepare and file detailed trip reports after each assignment.
• Be available on weekends to transport vehicles and assist with events as needed.

Logistics: 

• Assist the team with event set-up, breakdown, and any other necessary supportive tasks.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and organization.
• Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure easy access and efficient use of space.
• Coordinate staff assignments during events to ensure all roles are filled and operations run smoothly.
• Provide additional support to the Facilities team as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to event success and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL or experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with larger vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer and/or Client Service experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Working conditions

• Prolonged periods of standing and driving as required.
• Work may take place in different settings and on both weekdays and weekends, depending on the needs of the project or event. Physical requirements
• May require the occasional ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
