We are currently seeking a talented Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role works out of our Fort Lauderdale office and is not a remote position. 

Job Description

Position Overview:

The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online presence and marketing efforts of 26 North Yachts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation, with a preference for experience in the yachting or boating industry. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and supporting various marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This candidate will possess the proven ability to grow past social media channels by over 100k followers.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Create, curate, and schedule compelling content, including images, high-engaging videos, and written posts, that resonate with our target audience.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.

Digital Marketing:

• Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with creating and distributing email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials as needed.
• Assist with photoshoots for new listings.

Marketing Support:

• Provide support for various marketing events and activities, including boat shows, open houses, and client events.
• Assist with graphic design projects as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Must reside within the Fort Lauderdale area and have the ability to commute to our Corporate Office and other nearby locations on a daily basis.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
• Proven ability to grow social media followers by over 50k
• Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and website management tools (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in the yachting /  boating industry (or luxury space)  is highly preferred.
