04/15/2025 - Assist the Director with day-to-day operations of the department, including collaboration on decisions related to student discipline, safety, and wellness and engagement.
- Assist the Director in research, design, implementation and monitoring of district and campus level prevention and intervention programs. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement these programs. Provide leadership and administrative support to sites and division staff as they work to implement these programs.
- Primary day-to-day supervision and responsibility for evaluations of identified department staff in their roles supporting students with issues of attendance, behavior, homelessness, healthcare access, court involvement or other risk factors. Ensure that department staff maintain the confidentiality of student information.
- Consult and direct building and district staff on matters of student conduct, attendance and school climate. Responsible for facilitation and participation in meetings with students, families and school staff to problem-solve crisis situations, to develop intervention plans and to identify short- and long-term educational and intervention options.
- Provide direction and support regarding the management of a caseload of "intensive supervision" students faced with barriers including, but not limited to: expulsion, homelessness, mental health, safety risk factors and court involvement. Attend and represent the District during juvenile court proceedings.
- Assist the Director in identifying and building partnerships with community support resources, including your serving agencies, faith-based, business, and health and wellness partners. Represent the District on county and regional youth serving initiatives, committees and boards, as assigned by the Director.
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice or related human services field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Colorado driver's license and motor vehicle insurance.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.
- A miminum of three years working with adolescents whose behavior or circumstances place them at risk of educational failure is required. Experience must include working in collaboration with courts, law enforcement, human services, mental health and/or other youth-serving community agencies.
- Previous experience in a coordinator role is preferred.
- Bilingual preferred. (English/Spanish)
Intervention Services Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: Oversee service delivery to students under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This position collaborates with district counselor coordinators and works closely with school-based 504 coordinators and administrators in the buildings to align 504 practices and procedures throughout the district. Provides support in the coordination and implementation of 504 policies and procedures. Collaborate with colleagues across the district to support continuous professional learning and lead coaching and training for site-based 504 coordinators and writers of 504 plans. Implements district procedures for federal mandates regarding 504. Build capacity of staff who coordinate and manage Section 504 plans in order for them to provide appropriate accommodations and related services for students with disabilities.
SALARY: Starting at $81,672.00 based on experience. This is a 12-month position, full-time. Eligible for benefits.
