Position Description:
Under the direction of the Shipping and Receive Coordinator, handles, moves, weighs, and stores various materials within the warehouse and production floors. Assigned daily details were needed within the shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities
1. Fill in the Forklift daily check sheet every shift.
2. 5S, you are required to clean and maintain 5s in the assigned area.
3. Bring parts, packing material, and other materials required for production to the machines in no more than quantities required and no more than a basket at a time for the shift. Including Die Cast, CNC and Shotblast areas.
4. Move material from the all the work centers when the pallet/ Skid is complete, and ensure the next shift has no skid with loaded material.
5. Weigh all the baskets in your shift and put a count on the Lot tracing tag
6. Stay proactive on any unattended material and move it to the assigned areas.
7. Load / unload trucks when required.
8. Assist in inventory cycle counts.
9. Consolidate partial baskets.
10. Help quality in moving material when sorting is needed.
11. Keep the radio on and respond to any production requirements.
12. Move any obstructions to Fire extinguishers, clear walkways always.
13. Inform Team leader if any if any dunnage or boxes running low.
14. Ensure all machines are stocked /ready for the next shift.
15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
1. 1 years previous inbound/outbound logistics.
2. Experience in shipping/receiving as well as machining.
3. Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
4. Previous forklift experience.
5. Conscientious working.
6. Good communication skills to deal with customers colleagues and employees.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a factory environment, with exposure to shop elements such as heat, noise, dust, fumes, and odors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. 40 hours per work with some overtime and weekends required.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position. Occasionally, employee may have to travel to pick up or drop off a part.
