Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

SUMMARY
Keeps assigned property in clean, sanitary and orderly condition for the residents. Responsibilities include but not limited to; housekeeping – all of the common areas and unit turns, minor painting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, and buffers.
- Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
- Responsible for disposal of trash daily, waste, and other disposable materials.
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
- Plan work schedule for major tasks.
- Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc. in common areas.
- Wet mop floors in all vacant apartments. Damp mop all corridor floors, lobby, club room, and others daily.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, and commodes in common area.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).
- Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
- Conduct inspections of vacant apartments.
- Maintain a clean, safe and accessible building for residents and visitors.
- Change light bulbs in vacant apartments as needed.
- Assist maintenance personnel with painting vacant apartments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires a positive, self-motivated professional who possesses good oral communication skills and enjoys working with people.
