We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team, where you will play a key role in field and engineering activities related to municipal and commercial projects. This position requires hands-on fieldwork, technical expertise, and client interaction to support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Travel to project sites and meetings as required.
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including boring layouts, utility clearance, and supervising drill rig operations.
- Perform and oversee engineering tasks related to the design, construction, and operation of municipal and commercial projects.
- Assist in defining project scope, planning team tasks, and adjusting as needed to meet project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and other departments.
- Assign resources and coordinate work among engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Manage client interactions, including scheduling, resolving issues, and overseeing invoicing.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations; obtain necessary client and agency approvals.
- Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring new and existing engineers, technicians, and staff.
- Support business development efforts by identifying potential market opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
