What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Estimator/Coordinator position at 2H Talent?
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in estimating and quoting for commercial and / or industrial HVAC clients. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bid proposals, managing the bid process, and serving as a liaison between clients and the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and manage bids and proposals for commercial / industrial HVAC projects.
- Perform detailed take-offs and estimates for equipment, labor, and materials.
- Obtain and evaluate material, equipment, and vendor quotes for service / repair work.
- Write and submit clear and concise proposals / bids.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and tracking changes throughout the bid process.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to schedule and monitor incoming parts and materials.
- Order parts for jobs / projects and handle integrated approvals.
- Manage "Not to Exceed" (NTE) requests and pricing changes as needed.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the General Manager, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets with vendor changes, parts, prices, and equipment details.
- Monitor maintenance changes and keep all relevant documentation organized.
