Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the following components:
- Air Handlers: Installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Rooftop Units: Diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Heat Exchangers: Troubleshooting and replacing faulty components.
- Chillers: Maintenance, repair, and system optimization.
- Split Systems: Installation and repair of both residential and commercial systems.
- Boilers: Servicing and troubleshooting for various heating needs.
In addition to these tasks, the technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance for a diverse range of customers, including:
- School Districts: Ensuring HVAC systems are functioning properly in educational facilities.
- Town Office Buildings: Regular maintenance to maintain comfort and air quality.
- Various Other Facilities: Serving a broad customer base with varying HVAC needs.
We are seeking a reliable team player who can collaborate effectively with our established Service Department while also being capable of working independently on assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Certification: Required for handling refrigerants.
- NH Gas License: For working with natural gas systems in New Hampshire.
- OSHA-10 Certification: Demonstrates knowledge of workplace safety standards.
- NH Plumber's License: A plus for handling systems that require plumbing skills.
- Welding Skills: Beneficial for certain HVAC repair and installation tasks.
