What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrician position at 2H Talent?

We are seeking skilled Electricians (LME, PJ, J) to join our operations team in Albany, OR . This role involves rotating shifts (days, nights, and weekends) with a flexible schedule designed to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for :

Troubleshooting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
Working with a variety of equipment, including :

PLCs (Allen Bradley Control Logix)

AC / DC motors

Transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels

Lighting and power distribution systems

Collaborating with various departments to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently, helping to meet production goals.

What You’ll Need

We are looking for individuals who bring knowledge, experience, and a proactive mindset to the team.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Licensure : Active Oregon Electrician’s license (LME, PJ, or J).

Experience :

AC / DC motor control (including drives).

Electrical troubleshooting using standard equipment (e.g., DMM, VOM, Megger).

PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley Control Logix).

Industrial mechanical millwright skills (preferred).

Familiarity with CMMS systems (preferred).

Soft Skills & Abilities

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable working at heights and performing physical tasks as needed.

Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours as required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders.

Capability to bend, stoop, crouch, and navigate around equipment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Endurance to work in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels, and varying temperatures .
