What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeymen HVAC Service Technician position at 2H Talent?
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and instrumentation.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC units, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and low-temperature refrigeration equipment.
- Ensure all facility and equipment repairs are completed efficiently and safely.
- Respond to emergency service calls, including HVAC system failures and refrigeration issues.
- Travel to customer sites to conduct repairs, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman HVAC License required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong mechanical background with experience in boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and refrigeration systems.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
- Experience working with low-temperature refrigeration equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems.
- Extensive experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance.
