We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to support commercial and industrial design-build projects from concept through completion. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals, to develop accurate and high-quality drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and drafting of commercial and industrial projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Create and modify architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details to support project development.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure drawings align with project specifications and design intent.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in drawings and documentation throughout project phases.
- Conduct site visits and field measurements to support design development and documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Work within BIM models to support clash detection and coordination with other trades.
- Stay up to date with building codes, industry standards, and best practices related to commercial and industrial architecture.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably in commercial and industrial design-build projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software (Navisworks experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in coordinating with MEP, structural, and civil disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multi-disciplinary team.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per month
