What We Need
The Commercial Analyst will take a leading role in the development of comprehensive financial forecasts and strategic decision models, supporting the publishing team in exploring innovative approaches to sustained growth while enhancing current business operations. A successful candidate must be highly analytical and detail oriented, demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining complex financial models, and provide succinct analyses to inform a wide range of business decisions.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,500 and $111,740 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

What We Need

What You Will Do
- Create and maintain sales forecasts, reports, and financial models to help inform business decisions
- Analyze promotional campaigns and discounting strategies to maximize impact
- Build revenue forecasts for different business models, including premium games, and free-to-play titles
- Prepare and verify financial data, including weekly reporting, monthly business reviews, and ad hoc opportunity and risk analysis
- Generate insights via modeling, analyzing and testing player engagement strategies (i.e, conversion rates, ARPU, ARPPU, CLTV, ROI, revenue cannibalization, etc.)
- Contribute to the creation and optimization of key financial dashboards, reports and analysis across a diverse product catalog
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing sales forecasts and business profitability
- Experience creating financial forecasts and modeling different scenarios, ideally in video games, e-commerce, or mobile apps
- Proven ability to work effectively with teams across different time zones and organizational structures
- Expert level Excel (i.e., Excel functions, statistical functions), Tableau and the aptitude to quickly learn other financial and reporting software
- Strong background of delivering accurate, high-quality work while maintaining strong working relationships
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Passion for gaming, especially strategy games like Civilization, XCOM and others
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, Snowflake
