Who We Are

2K’s Global Partnerships team works across several disciplines to integrate global brands in-game, architect large-scale consumer marketing programs, secure merchandise licensees and successfully market and publish our games with our platform partners like Microsoft, Sony, and Steam. Our team culture is fast-paced and goal-oriented with a focus on driving revenue and exposure for our games worldwide. We hire self-starters who work hard and get the job done. 

What We Need

We are seeking an extremely organized and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team and work closely with our first party partners like Microsoft, Sony, Valve, Nintendo and Epic to successfully publish and promote our titles on their platforms. The ideal candidate should embrace a constantly changing environment, have the ability to multitask on multiple high-level projects, and lead a high performing team all while remaining cool, calm and collected.

  •            Liaise with all first party partners on a day-to-day basis building strong working relationships with our account teams and successfully launch our products on their consoles and storefronts
  •            Lead a team of partner managers (account managers and partner marketing managers) to maximize the support and collaboration from all platform partners
  •            Work closely with teams across the company to review new game launches, coordinate the setup of pre-orders and game releases in first party portals and maximize first party marketing opportunities
  •            Understand all aspects of platform relevant features, guidelines, and other policies in order to educate internal teams on potential impacts and implications
  •            Lead the business relationship with major game engine partners (i.e. Epic and Unity) to manage licenses and serve as an advocate for studio needs 
  •            Evaluate, evangelize, and execute on new growth initiatives and technologies created and offered by first party platform partners
  •            Leverage relevant company, game and/or product data to develop recommendations for new product features or changes on first party platforms
  •            Collect and present relevant company and product data at regular intervals to platform partners to drive execution of joint strategic initiatives
  •            Keep stakeholders in Europe and Asia up to date on release schedules and upcoming initiatives
  •            Troubleshoot issues that may arise throughout the development cycle with internal groups like Production, Release Management, Digital Strategy, Commercial and Marketing
  •            Develop and implement best practices for working with first party partners
  •            Participate in cross-departmental meetings to offer consistency and efficiency across all 2K titles
  •            Assist IT and other internal teams in the setup of new titles and accounts in first party portals

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

We’re looking for someone who is interested in working in video games, has a business-focused mindset, pays attention to the details, can build effective working relationships with all types of people and gets the job done on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of business and technical knowledge, serving as a bridge between both.  

  • 8 years of account management and/or operations experience, preferably with a technology or gaming company
  • Passion for video games, game development & marketing partnerships
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with strong oral and written skills
  • Proven track record as an effective manager
  • Disciplined and organized, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced and pressure-filled environment
  • Team player with the ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and work with multiple clients simultaneously and effectively
  • Eagerness to learn new subject matter


The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $170,000 and $210,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
