What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director Property Manager position at 2Life Communities?
We are seeking a committed and ambitious Property Manager to oversee a property with 150 units of affordable housing. The position will manage part of the team responsible for a community of senior housing in Newton and will report up to the Deputy Chief Nahanton Campus. The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and assist compliance staff in activities including but not limited to completing recertifications, completing AMR/MOR audits and qualifying applicants for new occupancy;
- Supervise office staff responsible for invoices, receivables, office supplies and vendor management;
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure efficient completion of apartment turnovers and work orders;
- Develop and monitor budget to actuals;
- Manage resident relations and ensure effective resident communication across all departments;
- 3-5 years experience in property management, including Project-Based Section 8.
- COS, CPO, C3P, or other designations would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Russian is a plus, but not required.
