Duties and Responsibilities :
- Asset Tracking and Management :
o Implement and maintain a comprehensive asset tracking system to monitor the location, status, and condition of all company assets.
o Conduct regular audits and reconcile asset records to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
o Tracking orders that still need to be quoted and are 90 days out. Following up with Sales / Customer on quotes that are due to be renewed within 90 days.
Procurement Support :o Collaborate with purchasing teams to ensure seamless integration of new assets.
o Verify and update asset information during the procurement process.
Maintenance and Upkeep :o Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for critical assets to prolong their lifespan.
o Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and replacements, minimizing downtime.
Retirement :o Updating the database when a customer notifies us that an asset is being discontinued.
Documentation and Reporting :o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of asset-related documentation.
o Generate regular reports on asset utilization, lifecycle status, and financial impact.
Reviews service reports that were created by the vendor when there is a performance maintenance on an asset.Notifies our sales team if a customer asset needs to be replaced based on the report review.Review part numbers to see if any new models are out or a part an asset is no longer being offered.Creates quotes for renewals on coverage that is needed, or part replacements needed.Creates orders for renewals on coverage that is needed, or part replacements needed.Monitor service calls to observe technical support staff's demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies; provides feedback as needed.Monitors and analyzes productivity of technical support engineers; generates reports based on analysis.Fields questions from technical support staff and clients; recommends solutions to customer / end user issues.Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow.Compiles status and work-volume reports for management.Interfaces with sales and customer support teams to provide technical information and assistance to team and customers.Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of ALM product information.Provide support to employees experiencing IT issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.Assist in setting up and configuring new workstations, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.Offer guidance to employees on using office technology effectively, including basic training on software and hardware use.Track and manage local IT equipment inventory, including ordering new hardware and supplies as needed.Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Qualifications :

Sitting : Much of the workday will be spent seated at a desk, working on a computer, and performing administrative tasks.Typing and Data Entry : Proficiency in typing and data entry is essential, requiring repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.Using Office Equipment : Operating office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers may be required.Phone Communication : Answering phones, making calls, and participating in conference calls may necessitate prolonged periods of speaking and listening.Occasional Standing and Walking : While the primary role is sedentary, there may be occasional tasks that require standing and walking within the office environment.Collaborative Space : Interaction with colleagues, supervisors, and clients is encouraged in designated collaborative areas.Standard Work Hours : The job typically follows standard office hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility based on business needs.Location : Roanoke, VA
