Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health and safety of clients.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic home environment is beneficial.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills while interacting with clients.
