Job Title : Senior Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join and lead the engineering team for a nationally recognized, award-winning architecture firm. This role offers a flexible hybrid or remote schedule, but candidates must reside in either the Atlanta Metro Area or Gainesville, GA area to collaborate effectively on projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities and the ambition to develop and grow a high-performing engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a nationally recognized firm.
Project Experience :
The ideal candidate will possess Multistory Hospitality, Hotels, and / or Mixed-use project experience.
Other project types within the firm include Low-mid-and high rise, entertainment, sports and recreation, faith-based, and general commercial.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the mechanical aspects of projects from conception through to completion
Attending client meetings and leading day-to-day consultant coordination.
Develop and directing Construction Documents and Project Detailing
Construction Administration Duties, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, identifying potential issues and assisting with resolution, as well as assisting in developing solutions to significant or recurring technical challenges.
Work collaboratively with and coordinating with other disciplines
Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form, with an understanding of industry communication protocols..
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license
At least 7 – 10 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form, with an understanding of industry communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
