Security/Low voltage Field Tech

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including security systems, surveillance, and telecommunication installations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality service and installation of low voltage systems that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including security systems and surveillance equipment.
• Build and design cabling layouts according to project specifications and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their telecommunication needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide technical support for computer hardware related to low voltage systems.
• Work closely with other technicians and contractors to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference.

Skills

• Proficiency in low voltage installation techniques and practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to system design and cabling methods.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations as they pertain to low voltage installations.
