Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of financial operations, including fund accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Manage the firm’s treasury operations, capital calls, and distributions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the deal team to support transaction structuring and execution.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party service providers.
- Drive the implementation of process improvements and technology solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Lead the valuation process for portfolio companies in alignment with industry standards.
- Provide insights and reporting to limited partners, including capital account statements and quarterly updates.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to scale with the firm’s growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA preferred).
- 8 years of progressive experience in private equity, venture capital, or fund accounting.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, including capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and grow a high-performing team.
- Hands-on experience with fund administration software and advanced financial modeling skills.
