Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting tasks, including construction painting, restoration work, and fixture installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Repair and restore damaged surfaces prior to painting
- Install fixtures such as shelves, cabinets, and artwork
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction painting and restoration work
- Familiarity with basic math for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Knowledge of airless paint spraying techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
