Cyberspace Workforce Manager
Location: Falls Church, VA, 22046

Description: The Cyberspace Workforce Manager will support the BUMED M62 Resource and Communications Directorate. The candidate is expected to have cyberspace workforce management experience in the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and manage the Navy Medicine Cyberspace Workforce Program
- Support Government Lead in Cyberspace Workforce Program Manager
- Ensure the effectiveness of Cyberspace Workforce Program
- Create, update, maintain Navy Medicine Cyberspace Workforce Management and Qualification Plan
- Coordinate with manpower and training representatives to ensure workforce data is accurately tracked and reported in personnel databases
- Monitor compliance of Workforce Program and create remediation plans as necessary
- Develop policy, programs, and guidelines for implementation
- Establish and maintain communication channels with stakeholders
- Develop standardized position descriptions based on established cyber work roles
- Establish and collect metrics to monitor and validate cyber workforce readiness including analysis of cyber workforce data to assess the status of positions identified, filled, and filled with qualified personnel
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in the field of specialized expertise in one of the following functions with respect to DoD programs /projects: o Cyberspace/Cybersecurity Workforce; o Financial and Portfolio Management; etc.
- DoD / Federal Policy Development Experience
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Skill in developing workforce and position qualification standards
- Skill in using manpower and personnel IT systems
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
- Knowledge of the organization's core business/mission processes.
- Knowledge of the National Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, work roles, and associated tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership
- Proficiency with MS Office Products to include creating briefs
- Military Health System Experience
Education:
- B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Resource Management, Communications, or Finance
