What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulic Engineer position at 3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying?
We are currently looking for a Civil H&H Engineer (PE) to manage and oversee a wide variety of projects from our Cañon City or Colorado Springs office as well as guide less experienced professional staff. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of civil H&H designs, serve clients and our community well, review work by others, and manage projects from beginning to end. The successful applicant will work on a wide variety of projects likely including LOMRs, master drainage studies, drainageway designs, storm sewer designs, and floodplain analyses.
GOTTA HAVE IT
- Passion for serving our neighbors!
- Enrolled as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Arc GIS
- Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, CUHP and related software applications
- Six or more years of experience in any combination of the following :
- site grading, drainage, and stormwater design and permitting (SWMP and GESC plans)
- major drainage master planning and design
- floodplain studies and mapping including LOMC with FEMA
- floodplain management activities with local governments, FEMA, and CWCB
- environmental permitting, local and USACE
