What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Engineer position at 3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying?
We are currently looking for a Transportation Engineer (PE) to oversee our Transportation Design Team with two direct reports. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the design efforts and growth of our Transportation Team and coordinate all communication with our Public Sector clients. Our Transportation Team works on a very wide range of roadway and sidewalk projects including intersections, bike lanes, parking lots and highway widening. The Transportation Team also provides Traffic Engineering (mostly CDOT access permits and traffic studies) and supports our Civil Sector team by providing roadway expertise on our private sector projects.
GOTTA HAVE IT
- Enrolled as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado or the ability to be enrolled within two months.
- 5 years of civil engineering experience
- 2 years Team management experience
- A strong familiarity with all levels of roadway design criteria and federal / state requirements (CDOT and AASHTO)
- 3 years AutoCAD Civil 3D roadway design and plan production experience
