Pay Range: $75,000 to $80,000 Annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products by performing the following duties. This role is positioned in a growth opportunity location, currently a small team and 3 assets in operation. This location also serves as a logistics hub for the business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Directly supervises 15 hourly employees in 24/5 Plant Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; works with production manager and/or human resource to address complaints and resolve problems.
- Responsible for the direction of employees in the implementation of production schedules and priorities.
- Responsible for training/evaluation employees on shift.
- Assists with diagnosis of machinery problems.
- Suggests changes to equipment and processes to improve efficiency of operations.
- Assists in implementation of necessary safety procedures/equipment to improve safer operations.
- Assists with all special projects involving building and grounds as needed.
- Communicate with other shifts and employees.
- Maintain steady, uninterrupted production and control of shift.
- Adhere to posted production schedules.
- Knowledge of order entry into production planning system.
- Assure shipments are met and that all material and paperwork are in order.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Monitoring solvent storage area and adheres to EPA Guidelines.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required:
o Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required. Requires 4 years in industrial manufacturing with direct management experience.
