Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of 30 Burgers in Hoboken. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all front-of-house staff, including supervisors, assistant supervisors, and cashiers
- Ensure smooth operation of all customer-facing areas
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness is maintained at a high standard
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and restrooms
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Schedule staff shifts and manage employee time-off requests
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for front-of-house staff
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food industry is required
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with milkshake preparation techniques is preferred
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in a restaurant setting is a plus
- Knowledge of culinary concepts and menu items is beneficial
- Previous experience conducting interviews and hiring front-of-house staff
